Conditioning

The Conditioning Hub is where players log the training they do between practices and where coaches see who is on track. Open it from the team navigation, or use the New conditioning log quick action from the team’s floating action button.

It has three tabs. You land on Feed; Team Dashboard and My Conditioning sit beside it.

TabWho sees itWhat it is for
FeedCoaches, owners, and rostered playersSessions teammates chose to share, with reactions and comments, plus the Log Activity button
Team DashboardSame roles; editable for coaches and owners, read-only for playersTeam totals, weekly targets, and (for coaches) every player’s progress

Team managers who are not also a coach or a rostered player do not have access to conditioning.

Logging a Session

  1. Tap Log Activity on the Feed (or the quick action).
  2. Pick an activity type. Coaches can add team-specific activity types; players pick from the defaults plus anything the team has added.
  3. Enter the duration as you would say it — 45m, 1h 30m, or 90 — and the date.
  4. Optionally open More details for distance, tags, notes, custom metrics the team tracks, and photos.
  5. Turn on Share to team if you want the session on the Feed. The app remembers your last choice per team.
  6. Save.

If your coach has assigned a drill as a weekly target, a Coach assigned row appears at the top of the form. Tap the drill to log this session against it; if you have not typed a duration yet, the drill’s duration fills in for you. Tap it again to clear it.

Photos

You can attach several photos to a session at once, including portrait shots. On desktop web, step through a post’s photos with the prev/next arrows; on a phone, swipe. Photos are removed 30 days after a session is shared — or 30 days after logging, for a session you never share. The session itself is kept either way.

The Feed

A shared session shows up on the team Feed as a post with the player’s name, activity, duration, any photos, and any tags. Posts leave the Feed 30 days after they were shared.

  • React with the picker; long-press a reaction to see who reacted.
  • Comment on a post, and react to comments. A post’s comment thread also appears under Discussions in team chat; opening it from there switches to the Feed and scrolls to and highlights the post — tap the post to open its full thread.
  • The author can edit the session or un-share it at any time. Un-sharing removes the post, its photos, reactions, and comments from teammates immediately.

Coaches and owners can always see a player’s sessions on the Team Dashboard whether or not they were shared. Sharing only controls what teammates see.

My Conditioning

Your own view of the week:

  • Sessions and minutes this week, and how you are doing against the team’s weekly targets.
  • Your consistency streak, counted in weeks that met the team’s each-player target (or two or more sessions when the team has none).
  • Your badge collection. Each badge has tiers; tap one for its description, when you earned it, and what the next tier needs. Your best week on record for sessions, minutes, and distance is shown alongside.
  • Your session history, with edit and delete.
  • Privacy settings for what others can see: distance and health metrics. Turning distance off hides it on shared posts and on the coach dashboard alike.

Weekly Targets

Coaches and owners set weekly targets from the Team Dashboard. Each target has:

  • Scope — Team (everyone’s sessions add up together) or Each player (every rostered player is measured against the same number).
  • What counts — Minutes, Sessions, Distance (in kilometers; miles and meters convert automatically), a Custom metric the team tracks, or a Drill.
  • Activity — all activities, or one activity type.
  • Value — the weekly number.
  • Notes — optional guidance for players, shown under the target in My Conditioning. Say how, not just how much: “Zone 2 only, keep it conversational.”

Assigning a drill

Choose Drill as the metric and pick a drill from the team library. The target counts sessions logged against that drill. Players see it as Coach assigned: drill name - duration - difficulty, can tap through to the drill, and log against it from the Coach assigned row on the log form. If the drill is later deleted, the target goes with it; the sessions players logged are kept.

Who counts toward each-player targets

A player whose condition on their profile is Recovering, Injured, Sick, or Unavailable is left out of each-player targets for as long as that condition is set, and is not flagged as at risk on the dashboard. Players with no condition set, or any other condition, count as normal. Set a player’s condition from the Fitness tab of their player profile.

Team Dashboard

Coaches and owners see the full dashboard; rostered players see the top row of numbers and the targets in read-only form.

  • Period — This week by default; switch to the last 4, 8, or 12 weeks. Everything below follows the period, and weekly targets scale to the number of weeks.
  • Active players, Sessions, Needs attention (eligible players with no sessions in the period), and Targets (average completion).
  • Weekly Targets with progress, and the New target button.
  • Player list, ordered so the players who need a conversation come first: no sessions in the period at the top, then fewest minutes. Each row shows sessions, minutes, target completion, last activity, and a Message action that opens a direct message with that player. Tap a name to open their Fitness profile. A sidelined player shows their condition instead of At risk.
  • Recent — the latest sessions in the period, shared or not.

Coaches see every session on the dashboard, including ones a player did not share to the Feed. Distance is hidden if the player turned it off in their privacy settings.
