Notifications
UltiStackr keeps you in the loop with a smart notification system that makes sure you never miss a team invite, a shared playbook, or an upcoming practice. Whether it’s a quick heads-up in the app or a push notification on your lock screen, you’ll always know what’s happening with your squad.
Notification Center
The Notification Center is your one-stop shop for everything that needs your attention. Tap the bell icon in the top navigation bar to open it.
Inside, you’ll find a chronological feed of all your notifications, grouped by unread and read. Each notification includes:
- What happened — a short description of the event (e.g., “Coach Mike shared a playbook with you”)
- When it happened — a relative timestamp (e.g., “2 hours ago”)
- Quick actions — some notifications include inline action buttons so you can respond without leaving the feed
Managing Your Notifications
- Mark as read — Tap any notification to mark it as read, or swipe it to dismiss.
- Mark all as read — Tap the checkmark icon at the top of the Notification Center to clear all unread notifications at once.
Marking notifications as read doesn’t delete them. You can still scroll back through your notification history anytime.
Notification Types
UltiStackr sends notifications for a variety of events across your teams. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:

| Team invitation | Someone has invited you to join a team |
| Added to team | You’ve been added to a team by a coach or admin |
| Playbook shared | A playbook has been shared with you or your team |
| Drill shared | A drill has been shared with you |
| Practice plan shared | A practice plan has been shared with you |
| Season plan shared | A season plan template has been shared with you |
| New event | A new practice, game, or event has been created for your team |
| Event reminder (24h) | A reminder sent 24 hours before a scheduled event |
| Event reminder (1h) | A reminder sent 1 hour before a scheduled event |
| RSVP reminder | A nudge to RSVP for an upcoming event you haven’t responded to yet |
| Team message | A new message has been posted in one of your team channels |
Action Notifications
Some notifications aren’t just informational — they need a response. These action notifications include inline buttons so you can act immediately.
The most common example is a team invitation. When someone invites you to their team, the notification will include Accept and Decline buttons right in the Notification Center. Tap one, and you’re done — no need to navigate anywhere else.
If you miss an action notification, don’t worry. You can also manage pending invitations from your team list in the app.
In-App vs. Push Notifications
UltiStackr delivers notifications through two channels:
- In-app notifications — Always on. These appear in your Notification Center whenever you’re using the app. You’ll see a badge on the bell icon when you have unread notifications.
- Push notifications — Optional. These are delivered to your device even when the app isn’t open. Perfect for time-sensitive events like game-day reminders or team invites.
