Quick Actions & Search
UltiStackr includes shortcuts for creating common team resources and finding existing work without digging through every tab.
Create Menu
Use the create button from the app shell or the current team workspace to start common actions quickly. The exact list depends on where you are and what your role can manage.
Common create actions include:
- New Play — open the field editor and start a play.
- New Event — schedule a practice, game, scrimmage, or tournament.
- New Practice Plan — build a structured practice session.
- New Drill — add a reusable drill to your library.
- New Note — capture team notes or wiki content.
- New Scratchpad — sketch a diagram without first choosing a playbook.
Only actions available to your workspace and role are shown. Hidden sections do not appear in the create menu.
Scratchpad
Scratchpad is a quick diagram board for ideas that are not ready to become a full play yet.
You can:
- Start from a blank field or a built-in template.
- Add player tokens, disc markers, arrows, shapes, text, and freehand marks.
- Sketch quick adjustments during a meeting, practice, or film review.
- Save useful diagrams into a personal playbook or a team playbook.
Use a personal scratchpad for private drafting. Use a team scratchpad when the diagram belongs with a specific team’s library.
Quick Access
Some dashboards include quick access shortcuts to the sections your team uses most often. These shortcuts are role-aware and workspace-aware, so unavailable sections stay out of the way.
Use quick access for fast jumps into active team work such as schedules, attendance, game logs, scouting notes, opponent records, scratchpads, and team notes.
Desktop Search
On desktop, use the search button or press Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, or Cmd+K on macOS.
Search can help you find:
- Plays and playbooks.
- Drills and practice resources.
- Events and schedule items.
- Other supported team records.
The search overlay supports recent searches, type filters, keyboard navigation, and quick open. Use the arrow keys to move through results, press Enter to open a selected result, or press Esc to close the overlay.
When to Use Each Shortcut
- Use Create when you already know what you want to make.
- Use Scratchpad when you need to sketch first and organize later.
- Use Quick Access when you are jumping into routine team work.
- Use Search when you know the name, opponent, event, drill, or play you are looking for.
