Navigating the App

Now that you’ve created your account and joined a team, let’s take a tour of UltiStackr so you know where everything lives.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home base. It’s the first screen you see after logging in, and it gives you a bird’s-eye view of what’s happening across all your teams.

Here’s what you’ll find on the dashboard:

  • Greeting — A personalized welcome message.
  • Stats Row — At-a-glance counts of your playbooks and teams.
  • Coming Up — Your upcoming events across all teams, so you know what’s next on the schedule.
  • Announcements — Recent channel announcements from your teams.
  • Recent Playbooks — Quick access to the playbooks you’ve been working on most recently.

Pull down on the dashboard to refresh it. If some data can’t load, you’ll see a note about what’s missing with a way to retry, instead of the screen just looking empty.

If you’re on multiple teams, the dashboard pulls in events from all of them. No more switching between apps to see what’s on your schedule.

Team View

Tap on any team from the dashboard (or use the team switcher) to open the Team View. This is where you’ll spend most of your time — it’s the hub for everything related to a specific team.

Getting Started Checklist

If a team is still getting set up, its home screen shows a Get started card with four core jobs:

  • Build the roster
  • Create a play
  • Schedule a training
  • Collect an RSVP or check-in

Each item is tappable and jumps you straight to the relevant screen. Items check themselves off automatically once the underlying thing exists — add a roster member, create a play, schedule an event, or record an RSVP/check-in, and that step marks itself done. Once all four are complete, the card disappears on its own.

If you’d rather not see it right now, tap the X to collapse it into a small Setup guide chip. Tap that chip any time to reopen the full checklist.

Team Tabs

Each team has a set of tabs that organize its content. Here’s a quick rundown:

TabWhat’s Inside
DashboardA team-specific overview of upcoming events, recent activity, announcements, and quick links.
RosterThe full roster — players, coaches, managers, and their roles. Manage invites and permissions here.
ScheduleUpcoming and past practices, games, tournaments, and custom events, grouped into Today / This week / Later. RSVP and check attendance.
AttendanceAttendance tracking and check-in records for team events.
GamesGame logs with point-by-point tracking, stats, and scoring history.
LibraryTeam playbooks, drills, practice plans, and season plans shared with the team.
SeasonsSeason overview with roster overrides, linked events, and calendar feeds.
SettingsTeam configuration, roster defaults, and invite links for staff members with access.
ChatTeam communication channels. Post updates, run polls, and react to messages.
NotesA shared team wiki for strategies, meeting notes, and anything else your team wants to document.

Not all tabs may be visible to every member. Team admins can configure which sections are available and who can access them.

Library

The Library is your personal space — separate from any specific team. It’s where you store and manage content that belongs to you.

The Library includes:

  • Playbooks — Personal playbooks and plays you’ve created. You can share these with any of your teams, or keep them private.
  • Drills — A collection of drills you’ve built or saved. Use them when creating practice plans for any team.
  • Practice Plans — Practice plan templates you’ve designed. Reuse them across teams and seasons.
  • Season Plans — High-level season planning documents that map out phases, practice sequences, and milestones.

Think of the Library as your coaching toolkit. Build content once, use it everywhere.

The Library landing page leads with a Continue working section of the items you’ve touched most recently, followed by a Browse by type rail showing counts and last-updated info for each category. Each list can be viewed as a grid or a list and sorted with a type-appropriate sort picker — both choices are remembered the next time you open the library. Tap an item’s overflow menu for quick access to Open, Edit, Duplicate, Share, or Delete without leaving the list.

Longer libraries now keep loading as you scroll, and filter chips reflect full matching totals from the database rather than just the first batch currently on screen. The same incremental loading pattern also shows up in larger pickers such as Copy to and content-linking flows.

Shortcuts

UltiStackr includes create shortcuts, scratchpads, quick access links, and desktop search for jumping into common work without opening each tab first.

For the full shortcut guide and all workflow patterns, use Quick Actions & Search.

If you’re on multiple teams, switching between them is straightforward:

  • From the dashboard: Tap on any team card to jump directly into that team’s view.
  • Team switcher: Use the team switcher in the navigation bar to quickly move between teams without going back to the dashboard.

Your position and context within each team are preserved, so switching back and forth is seamless.

Profile and Settings

Tap your profile avatar (usually in the top corner of the screen) to access your personal settings.

Profile Settings

  • Display Name — The name your teammates see throughout the app.
  • Profile Photo — Upload an avatar or photo.
  • Email — View or update the email associated with your account.
  • Password — Change your password (for email/password accounts).

App Settings

  • Notifications — Configure which events trigger push notifications, emails, or in-app alerts. See the Notifications section for details.
  • Appearance — Toggle between light and dark mode, or follow your system preference.

That covers the essentials. You now know how to find your way around UltiStackr’s dashboard, team views, personal library, and settings.
