Communication
UltiStackr’s built-in communication tools keep your entire team connected — from pre-game strategy huddles to post-tournament celebrations. No more juggling group chats across three different apps or losing important announcements in a sea of memes.
What’s Inside
Every team on UltiStackr gets a full suite of communication features out of the box:
- Team Channels — Organized spaces for team-wide conversations and official announcements
- Group DMs — Private conversations between any combination of teammates
- Real-Time Messaging — Instant delivery powered by WebSockets, so messages land the moment they’re sent
- Polls — Quick decisions made easy with single-choice, multi-choice, and anonymous voting
- Emoji Reactions — React to messages without cluttering the conversation
Every team automatically gets a General channel and an Announcements channel the moment it’s created — no setup required. Your squad can start talking before the first disc is thrown.
How Communication Fits Into UltiStackr
Your team’s communication hub connects naturally to everything else in the app:
| Feature | How it connects |
|---|---|
| Team Management | Channel access is based on team roles (Owner, Coach, Manager, Member) |
| Practice Planning | Share practice plans and drill updates in channels |
| Game Day | Coordinate lineups, arrival times, and field assignments |
| Notes & Wiki | Reference shared strategy docs right from your conversations |
| Events & Calendar | Post event reminders and RSVP updates to channels |
Getting Started
Here’s the recommended path to getting your team’s communication flowing:
- Explore your Team Channels — Learn about General, Announcements, and custom channels
- Start Messaging — Send your first message, edit, delete, and track who’s read what
- Create a Poll — Put decisions to a vote with your team
- Use Reactions — Keep conversations clean with emoji reactions
Communication features are available to all team members, but only coaches, managers, and owners can post in Announcement channels. This keeps important updates from getting buried under highlight reel debates.
