Appearance
UltiStackr lets you choose how the app looks so it fits your style — whether you’re a dedicated dark-mode warrior, a light-mode loyalist, or someone who just wants the app to match whatever your device is doing.
Accessing Appearance Settings
- Tap your profile avatar in the top navigation bar.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Appearance.
Theme Options
UltiStackr offers five theme modes:
Light Mode
The classic, bright interface. Clean backgrounds, high contrast text, and a look that works great in well-lit environments — like the sideline on a sunny tournament day.
Best for:
- Outdoor use and bright screens
- Users who prefer a traditional interface
Dark Mode
A darker color palette that’s easier on the eyes in low-light conditions. Backgrounds shift to deep tones, and text is rendered in lighter shades for comfortable reading.
Best for:
- Late-night strategy sessions and film review
- Reducing eye strain in dim environments
- Saving battery on devices with OLED screens
High Contrast
A light theme with increased contrast ratios for improved readability. Text and UI elements stand out more clearly against backgrounds.
Best for:
- Users who prefer stronger visual distinction between elements
- Accessibility needs requiring higher contrast
High Contrast Dark
A dark theme with increased contrast ratios, combining the benefits of dark mode with enhanced readability.
Best for:
- Users who prefer dark mode but need stronger contrast
- Low-light environments where standard dark mode feels too muted
System
Let your device decide. When set to System, UltiStackr automatically follows your operating system’s current appearance setting:
- If your phone is in dark mode, UltiStackr will be in dark mode.
- If your phone switches to light mode, UltiStackr follows along.
This is the default setting for new accounts.
On most devices, you can schedule your system theme to switch automatically — for example, dark mode after sunset and light mode during the day. With UltiStackr set to System, the app will follow that schedule seamlessly.
Changing Your Theme
- Navigate to Settings > Appearance.
- Tap your preferred option: Light, Dark, High Contrast, High Contrast Dark, or System.
- The theme applies immediately — no need to restart the app.
Theme Storage
Your theme preference is stored locally on each device. If you use UltiStackr on multiple devices, you’ll need to set your preferred theme on each one individually.
If you choose System mode, the actual appearance will follow each device’s own system settings. For example, your phone might be in dark mode while your laptop browser is in light mode — and UltiStackr will respect each one independently.
